Think you are the MDL master? Think you can out-draft your fellow league-mates? Well I have a challenge for you…
The second annual draft-master league for MDL members is now open for business. For those of you who are new and do not know what a draft-master league is please see My Fantasy League’s description below:
Some people call them draft-master leagues. Others call them draft and hold leagues. You might even call them best ball leagues. Whatever you call them, we know you’ll enjoy them for free here on MyFantasyLeague.com.
In a nutshell, “draft-only leagues” are like a regular MyFantasyLeague.com league except:
- You don’t submit starting lineups – instead, the system automatically chooses your best starters for you each week of the season.
- You don’t trade or do waiver moves – instead, the team you draft is the team you have all season long.
- You don’t have head-to-head matchups or playoffs – instead, it’s a total points only league.
So, think of these leagues as “mock draft plus” leagues – basically, you do a draft, but also, at the end of the season, you can see how the team you drafted actually fared throughout the year.
The annual fee to participate will be $25, fees will be paid through LeagueSafe and payouts will be determined after registration is complete. We will use MDL scoring and draft a full 53 man roster including head coach. Since July is a down time in the off-season for MDL leagues, the draft will begin July 8th, at 9am.
A) 22 players and 1 Head Coach make up a valid starting Lineup (23), consisting of the following positions:.
1 Head Coach
1 RB/WR FLEX
1 WR/TE FLEX
1 DL/LB/DB Flex
The draft will be similar to MDL rookie drafts with a 4 hour clock per selection and the timer shutting off between 12pm eastern through 9am.
More details will be revealed when the number of participants is clear. It is possible that if we get 32 managers we will separate it into 2 16 -league drafts (or double copies) with one grand prize winner.
